Gaurav Agarwal

Gaurav Agarwal is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of GetYourGuide, a leading platform to discover and book travel experiences, effective June 2024. In this role, Agarwal leads GetYourGuide’s technical teams, including global infrastructure; data, analytics and AI; growth; and user experience (UX).

He was previously a Director of Engineering at Netflix, Inc. (NFLX), where he led the engineering organization at Netflix that is responsible for all aspects of user and revenue growth, including plans, pricing, payments, partner platform, and account management. Prior to Netflix, Gaurav led multiple Growth Engineering teams at Meta focusing on User Growth and Advertiser Growth. Before Meta, Gaurav co-founded a startup focusing on an anonymous social network where he led engineering and product development.

Gaurav is a seasoned builder and leader of global engineering teams. Throughout his career, he has launched and scaled product and technical direction for multiple zero-to-one products. Additionally, he is passionate about mentoring and growing future leaders.

Gaurav holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. When not in the office, Gaurav travels the world with his wife and son.
