GetYourGuide Drives Global Momentum as APAC Becomes Its Fastest-Growing Region
Announced at Unlocked Bangkok, comes with a new Bali partnership and Thailand as its top destination in the region
BANGKOK and BERLIN | Oct. 19, 2026 – GetYourGuide, a leading global online marketplace to discover and book the world's best tours and activities, today announced that the APAC region was its fastest-growing region globally in Q2 and Q3 2026.
GetYourGuide unveiled the news at Unlocked Bangkok, its second flagship industry event in the region. Not only does Thailand host one of GetYourGuide’s regional offices, Thailand is the top destination in Asia Pacific for GetYourGuide.
Expanded partnerships in the region
GetYourGuide also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Association of The Indonesian Tours & Travel Agencies, Bali Regional (DPD ASITA Bali), at Unlocked Bangkok. The agreement will connect ASITA Bali’s members onto GetYourGuide to drive international traveler consideration, while setting up a destination data exchange to help grow Bali’s visibility among travelers worldwide. Thomas von Mossener, GetYourGuide’s regional director of APAC, signed on behalf of GetYourGuide, while I Wayan Suberata, Vice Chairman of Asita Bali Regional, signed on behalf of ASITA Bali.

This news comes on the heels of GetYourGuide’s 2026 Fall Release, announced in September at Unlocked Summit Berlin. The product update included more context into listing performance, AI-assisted listing quality checks, and a faster way to communicate with travelers. The company also recently announced its newest regional office in São Paulo, Brazil.
