GetYourGuide and the NBA’s Orlando Magic Partner to Drive Live Tourism
As game night becomes part of more travelers' itineraries, GetYourGuide, the marketplace for travel experiences, and the iconic Orlando Magic team up on a marketing partnership
Orlando, Fla. and Berlin, Germany | Oct. 13, 2026 – GetYourGuide, a leading global online marketplace to discover and book tours and activities, today announced a marketing partnership with the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Orlando Magic ahead of the team's 2026-27 season. The partnership grows a multi-year relationship into additional collaboration, pairing Magic fans with GetYourGuide's international reach.
GetYourGuide and the Orlando Magic have worked together for several seasons, helping international visitors add a home game to their Orlando itinerary, alongside the city's theme parks and attractions. Building on a track record of success, the two organizations are now piloting a new marketing model for the 2026-27 season that drives experimentation and innovation in the live tourism industry.
Connecting live experiences with tourism
- Game-day, social visibility and on-court reach: GetYourGuide branding will appear across Magic touchpoints throughout the season, including game ticket confirmation emails, pre- and post-game communications, and app and web placements, as well as select on-court and social media campaigns.
- Built for the traveling fan: The partnership is designed to reach NBA fans already planning a visit to Orlando, surfacing the Magic game-night experience — and other Orlando activities — at the moments travelers are deciding what to do on their trip.
"Live sports are becoming one of the most powerful reasons international travelers add an extra day to a trip," said Director of Product and GetYourGuide Co-Founder, Martin Sieber. "As a basketball fan, avid traveler and technologist, I look forward to continuing our collaboration with the Magic to bring its magic to even more fans around the world,” Sieber said.
"The Magic are thrilled to officially add GetYourGuide to our partnership family,” said Magic Executive Vice President of Global Partnerships J.T. McWalters. “Great experiences create lasting memories, and that’s something both the Orlando Magic and GetYourGuide value deeply. We’re excited to continue building our relationship and collaborating throughout the season.”
At the same time, GetYourGuide continues to expand its global reach. Following its largest-ever event in Berlin, the company is gearing up for supply partner events in Asia and Australia while celebrating a record 1 million bookings in a single week.
